About The Story Tab

Back when I was a child I used to have a small blue notebook, where I would just write all my notes down for games, stories, or kool concepts that I wanted to create. I carried this habit all the way until college where even in class, I would appear to be writing notes but in fact were writing stories. I wish I had the idea to actually finish these stories and publish them online. It's funny that I never even thought to do that. I would be almost 15+ years before I would actually start writing again. 

Growing up I was never allowed to be myself and representation just wasn't what it is now for black people. You had Static Shock, The Boondocks, and BET but these shows weren't household names. So I became a programmer because I didn't think my dreams were worth chasing. 

 

Why is this important? and what does this have to do with the story tab? 
 

I've written 3 stories one will remain a secret because I don't know if it will actually be realized due to some complications. 

• Project Pangolin
• Project Axotyl
• Project Anole

For now I'd like to have these projects be shrouded in mystery. What I can say is Project Axotyl first is a love story but project Anole seems to be dead in the water. I wrote the script for it but the artist doesn't seem committed to doing it. If that changes Trust me there will be a blog post and a website change announcing it. So you'll know. 

I fully expect project pangolin to be a very controversial comic book if indicted into the cultural zeitgeist. I honestly am writing it to be very controversial. However the point of the book isn't to spread hate but to help people empathize with one another and to teach people that hate isn't okay even it is for a good cause. I want my stories to make people laugh, cry, and think. But ultimately I want them to be fun and enjoyable to read.
