I Love Pokemon

I'd like to talk about my latest hyper fixation pokemon. I don't think this franchise needs any introduction pikachu is probably the most recognizable character in anime next to Mickey Mouse. During Christmas I wanted to play through a few games I never beat and Pokemon was one of them and so I started Pokemon Emerald. 

Initially I started out with Treeko as a starter until i got to the 4th gym and realized I made a horrible mistake as Watson and he steamrolled through my entire team. So I restarted my game and used the superior starter Mudkip and added shroomish to my team. Let me just say Breloom > Sceptile. I proceed to just beat the game with  Gyrados, Alakazam, Aggron,  Absol. 

The only part that was hard was beating the Elite 4 I genuinely haven't beaten a single pokemon game because my parents were staunchly against pokemon. They were convinced that pokemon were demons that you captured and battled (I'm not joking). However my life as a pastor's kid is genuinely a story for another time. After many tries I triumphed over Steven. To which I would go to beat Fire red, and Platinum. I'm now playing through Black and White 2 and having a good time :3. 

I never thought that this series that would come out when I was February 27, 1996 that this series would still be around. I stopped playing when I fo First off let's set somethings straight right I have played competitive pokemon but it was back during gen 3 - 5 which i found fun. Right when they added mega evolutions, and giganta max i hopped off. 

I haven't played any pokemon games pass black and white 2 I'm still in the middle of that playthrough so keep that in mind. I do need to get a switch and I want to make this very clear I'M NOT A PUREST WHERE I'M AGAINST POKEMON IN 3D. I just am stingy and don't want to buy a switch. I am aware of the quality of life changes and how easy the 3d games have become I've watched the reviews, streams, and gameplay so I'm not in the dark. 

I'm going to say from what from what I'm seen that I do like the some of the changes they made to pokemon. I've played pokemon where it's been harder and I realized something it made me not want to play anymore. Please keep in mind I'm the type of person who likes a challenge but think about it to win sometimes you have to grind until your pokemons or stronger or maybe you need another pokemon that is a brand new type and then level him up so he can win. 

Now I Here this is never an issue with exp share which i'm conflicted leveling is the worst part of pokemon but man always having a troupe of 5 pokemon is crazy. My hope is that they make things like Ev, Ivs, and setting natures easier in the future. However I think that pokemon champions will fix that. So yea that's what I wanted to write about I've been obsessesed with pokemon.
