Diamond - My Pc

I've been building pcs since I was about 16 years old. I've build a ton of pcs. Check out my latest iteration of the of my current  setup.

You might notice something quite odd from my setup that I have about 96 GB of ram. Now tbh honest that was a bit over kill for my needs. I think I needed about 64 but I was going to give the other piece of ram to a friend but that didn't go well do to other reasons.

The reason why you do this is really simple it makes it easier to multitask I can run essentially all my docker environments, stream, and game without having to close anything. Granted you need a powerful CPU and GPU to do this but when you have some extra ram it makes everything else a cake walk. I'm at a point where I try to run as many programs as I can to see if it will break and I still can't make it shut down. It's freaking beautiful.

However if you were to choose me to build your PC I wouldn't build this pc for you unless power is what you seek or to brag to your friends. My profession does require me to need this much ram not 96GB but under 32GB isn't an option for me anymore. And I hesitate building another PC under 16GB for web development.

It's not that you can't do web development under 16GB it's just that when you set up your environment at least 12GB is dedicated to the browser, IDE, and docker containers. That just leaves 4GB for any other leisure that you'd like to do or if you're like me and get easily distracted you have to tear down your environment to work on other things. 

With my current setup I NEVER have to tear down any environment to work on anything else. I just kind of keep working. Either way if power is what you seek and the ability to own your enemies is something you crave schedule an appointment with me ^_^.
