My blogs build off each other and if you read them in a certain order they start to tell a story.
A narrative about my life and how I've gotten to the place that have. I'm at some point going to publish something here that helps you navigate them and tells you which order to read each blog in so you have an idea how to read these blogs. With how these back end system functions it might be confusing on the order of them but let's focus and get back to the scheduled programming.
For now you'll have to manage but it's crazy I've been using this cms for a while and we've already gotten to a point where we've outgrown it. In the next year or two I'll be rolling out a new CMS that will allow me to quickly show my stories. If you've been paying attention my story tab has a new story in it now.
Anyways let's get to the point I used to make sandwiches of a living it wasn't great work. I would go to work clean the tables, make sandwiches, prepare meats, prepare vegetables, and clean dishes. It was at a local subway and I enjoyed it believe it or not it really be the simple jobs that give me the best joy. I used to stock shelves to at a night job too and that WAS SO MUCH FUN.
There is like a little bit of joy that I get when it comes to seeing a job until the end and seeing your work after you finish a shift. I would always come into work with a cheerful attitude and a smile and would get some really positive reviews from many people. Like one time at a subway some one gave me a $300 Tip like OMG.
I don't tell you this to brag either but to tell you no matter how bad your situation is or how bad things are.
- Always have an exit plan
- Do your best but don't kill yourself doing so
I would never tell a low wage worker to give their life for a souless corporation who is giving you minimum wage. However if you're a front facing employee you never know what a good attitude can lead you. Opportunities can come from anywhere and you never know how you could brighten someone's day with a smile. I will add a note that if you're a woman BE CAREFUL WHO YOU SMILE TOO. I am aware that some men cannot take an interaction and move on from it.
Anyway I hope that you all will have a good day and sorry for the lack of updates things have been busy lately and I haven't been feeling up to writing. However I will get you all hyped for the next blog which will be the next in the series. Which is how I moved back to CT and became homeless for a time. It'll be the longest blog on this website but I really want to be able to talk about it here since most likely I'll never talk about it on facebook or IRL.
